Privacy Policy
ClickToPlay (“the app”) is a macOS menu-bar, Windows tray, and Linux helper published by Bo Kelleher.

What we collect
The app does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. Recent stream URLs and settings (VLC path, latency, launch-at-login preferences) stay on your computer in standard app preferences. If a stream link carries credentials such as a passphrase, they are kept locally with that recent entry and nowhere else.

Network
The app does not contact our servers. It only hands srt:// destinations to VLC on your computer. Network traffic for playback is handled by VLC under your control.

Purchases
The Mac app is distributed through the Mac App Store, under Apple’s privacy policy. Windows and Linux purchases are processed by Stripe; Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy policy, and we receive a receipt plus the private download link we issue to you, nothing more.

Third parties
The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Haivision or VideoLAN. VLC is a separate product with its own privacy practices.
